Stryper

SOLDIERS UNDER COMMAND

In 1985, Stryper released its second studio album Soldiers Under Command. The album went gold, selling more than half a million copies. The cover of the album featured the band, donned in their signature yellow and black striped stage outfits, posed in front of a "battle van". The cover of the album and the battle van quickly became synonymous with the band's image. In an effort to provide hungry fans with more Stryper, I worked with the band and a local vinyl toy creator to bring the Stryper Battle Van to life. An original yellow and black version was produced, plus limited edition white versions and  gold versions. These colorways paid homage to the original white vinyl record and the record's gold status.
